About Arancio 3 Strati
Arancio 3 Strati is a bright metallic orange developed by Ferrari and offered as part of its premium paint range. The name “3 Strati” refers to its multi-layer paint structure, which gives the color noticeably greater depth and complexity compared to standard solid or metallic finishes. In direct sunlight, Arancio 3 Strati appears vivid and energetic, with a vibrant orange base that leans slightly toward copper. Fine metallic particles catch the light evenly, creating a luminous effect rather than a harsh sparkle. In lower light or shade, it becomes warmer and deeper, revealing darker amber and bronze tones. The layered nature of the paint gives it a sense of visual depth, making reflections appear softer and more fluid across the bodywork.
The story of Arancio 3 Strati
Arancio 3 Strati is a three-layer metallic orange that carpaints.co lists with PPG code 138501 and the alternate name Arancio Triplo Strato, seen only on Tailor Made Atelier builds: it documents a Tailor Made 812 GTS and a Tailor Made Daytona SP3 photographed by Ferrari Québec. ROSSOautomobili shows the same name on an F430 Spider pictured by Ryan Friedman Motorcars and describes a bright, deep three-layer orange. A 2023 SF90 Spider offered by Ferrari of Houston was described by duPont Registry as finished in "Arancione Triple Strato", a special-order option from Ferrari's bespoke team.
